Universal: New Hagrid Themed Roller Coaster Announced for The Wizarding World of Harry Potter

Today lets hop on our brooms and head over to Universal Orlando to talk about the newly announced roller coaster coming to the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. This thrill roller coaster is going to be called Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure and it will be opening this summer on June 13th 2019 at Universal’s Islands of Adventure Park. This is going to be located on the Hogsmeade side of the park and you should keep in mind that if you do want to visit both sides of the Harry Potter sections of the parks you would need a two-park ticket. The roller coaster will be replacing the dragon challenge ride that was there previously. It is supposed to be one of their most highly themed roller coasters yet according to the Pottermore Instagram account. This is said to be a roller coaster that allows guests to fly with Hagrid on a ride that brings you in contact with some of the wizarding world’s most magical creatures.

I don’t know about you but this seems absolutely amazing! The magical creatures are one of my favorite parts about the Harry Potter universe and Hagrid is one of the most beloved characters. I could not be more excited about this! What do you think?

Hello! My name is Cori. I am a huge Disney and Harry Potter Fanatic. I travel to Disney multiple times a year, whether it's Disney world, which I go to the most, Disneyland, a Disney Cruise, or one of the many other wonderful Disney Experiences. I also love to travel to new places and visit Universal every once in awhile to see Harry Potter. I spend a large amount of time researching all things Disney, so I thought it was only fitting that I start a blog to share my thoughts and findings, and I could not be more excited.
